Coir Fiber

Coir fibre is the outer husk of the coconut and a waste product of the coconut industry. The woody characteristics and high lignin content of the coir fibres mean it takes five to ten years for them to rot away – enough time for plants to root and protect the soil.

Coir is ideal for seeds and cuttings. It can be used as a base for homemade composts or added to aerate garden waste composts. Whether you want discs, bales, or loose coir which is washed, dried, or rehydrated, we can deliver it. Made from the renewable resource of coconut trees
